Sunbeam adhesive is a premium quality Chloroprene solvent-based adhesive recommended for bonding Formica to a variety of substrates such as wood, metal, leather, cork and rubber. Its specialized heat resistant formula offers excellent bond strength and a high quality finish.

  • Excellent adhesion
  • Quick-dry, easy to apply
The substrate must be free from dust and oil
  • The surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust, grit, oil and grease
  • Apply Sunbeam adhesive to both surfaces with a brush or scraper to give a uniform coating
  • Allow drying for 7 – 25 minutes according to surface porosity
  • Apply even pressure to the assembly to ensure uniform bonding
  • Use Thinner to remove excess adhesive
  • Leave to dry for at least 4 hours
